Airtour was founded in 1965 by the travel agents in Israel as a consolidator of flights for the majority of the airlines operating to and from Israel. In 1973, ELAL Israel airlines became a strategical partner in Airtour by holding 50% of the shares.
Currently, ELAL is holding 50% of Airtours 'B' type shares, and the rest is held by the majority of the travel agents in Israel.
The company's board of directors has 10 members, 5 directors represent ELAL and 5 directors represent the travel agents. The chairman of the board is always a travel agent.

Airtour's yearly turnover consists of $300,000,000, which represents approximately 350,000 passengers.
Airtour's main activities are:

1.Distributing all low cost and special fares of ELAL flights.
2.Distributing special flights on SUN DOR (elal's charter company)
3.Selling city packages to ELAL destinations (flight + hotel accommodation)
4.Selling fly and drive packages to ELAL destinations. (flight + car rental)
5.Ski packages.
6.GSA in Haifa & Jerusalem for OPEN SKY LTD (representative of 26 airlines around the world).

For 25 years, Natour has been the largest and leading outbound tourism wholesaler in Israel, and continues to be so. The company handles all aspects of the tourism industry and its products are marketed to the general public by all of the travel agencies in Israel.

Pan Trading Company, Ltd. (PTC), was established as a wholesale travel and tour operator agency in 1978.  PTC has become a leading company in Israel, handling 80,000 hotel reservations a year.
